Stratford, CT – June 15, 2012 –  American Institute of Healthcare and Technology (AIHT) will open a medical training school, at 300 Long Beach Blvd, Stratford CT. This allied healthcare school will offer vocational training for a variety of medical technician and medical assistant positions, helping people choose or modify their careers in allied healthcare fields, which are forecasted to remain a key source of job growth.

Founded in Piscataway, New Jersey in 2006, 300 Long Beach Blvd will be AIHT’s first Connecticut location.

Shah Ravish, the spokesperson of AIHT, stated, “We selected this location because of the competitive rent and the success of nearby Porter and Chester Institute, which shows there is a market for vocational schools in the greater Stratford area”.

The lease of 4,327 SF of industrial flex space at this location was negotiated by Jon Angel, President of Angel Commercial LLC., who represented both the tenant and the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Angel comments, “A prime location was a major requirement for AIHT. This building is only .8 miles from I-95 and 2 miles from the commuter rail, making it ideal for commuting students”.

300 Long Beach Blvd is part of the Stratford Executive Park, which consists of over 1.4 million square feet of buildings in their Stratford portfolio.  Tenants include many small and growing companies who utilize the Park for office space, light assembly and manufacturing, laboratory, bio-tech and R&D operations, distribution and storage facilities.
