Hockey and Lacrosse Sporting Goods Store to Open in Norwalk
NORWALK, CT – March 22, 2010 – Brett A. Sherman, CCIM, Senior Vice President of Angel Commercial L.L.C., a Fairfield-based commercial real estate brokerage firm, announced today that Pure Hockey and Commonwealth Lacrosse have signed long term leases for 12,000 square feet of space at 677 Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk, Connecticut. Pure Hockey and ComLax operate multiple, large-format retail specialty stores in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire, in addition to its online retail operations. The store plans a grand opening in May.
“This will be their first store in Connecticut,” notes Sherman, who represented the tenant in this transaction. “The location is ideal for Pure Hockey and ComLax. Their goal was to be along I-95 in the heart of Fairfield County because of the concentration of ice rinks and lacrosse teams. The new store will join other retailers such as PC Richard and Son, Walmart, Home Depot, and Sports Authority. There is abundant parking and quick on/off access from Exits 13 and 14 off I-95.”
The landlord, MBI, was represented by Jackie Pinyan-Durels and Timothy Rorick of FirstService Williams’ Stamford office.
