Fairfield, CT – January 24, 2012 – Jon Angel, President of Angel Commercial L.L.C., announced today that his firm has completed six commercial real estate leases in only 15 Days.

Angel explains, “The new year started at a fast pace. We negotiated full occupancy of 36,000 SF at 1895 Stratford Avenue, moved the Bridgeport Bar Association, secured space for a liquor store in Westport, found additional space for a Shellfish Farm, and relocated a personal financial planning company to Stamford.  There are great opportunities for tenants to lower their occupancy costs and, in some cases, upgrade to a higher class of building”.

Recent Lease Transactions Include:

1895 Stratford Avenue, Stratford, Connecticut

Confirmed Freight (CF) and US Mezzanines & Rack moved into the multi-tenant Stratford building, bringing this 36,000 SF property to 100% occupancy. Jon Angel represented the landlord in both lease negotiations.

CF provides professional freight and transportation logistics for the particular demands of the high-tech electronic, computer, entertainment, medical and related industries.  Having operations in New York and Los Angeles, CF now has 4,456 SF in this Stratford location.

Since 1989, US Mezzanines & Rack supply mezzanine, modular office, and warehouse structures. They offer a complete service from design to installation and occupy 4,500 SF of the multi-tenant space.

The Greater Bridgeport Bar Association (GBBA)

The GBBA left 1000 Lafayette Boulevard for 1057 Broad Street, Bridgeport, CT. This new location is approximately 2,000 SF and located within very close proximity to the Court House. The building itself is part of a two-building complex that is occupied by multiple law offices.  Angel represented the tenant and negotiated a long-term lease.

The GBBA was established in 1880 and it is one of the oldest, continuously active bar associations in the United States. The organization provides its member with the opportunity to keep current with various legal issues, publish articles and socialize with other legal professionals in the local area.

607 Post Road East, Westport, Connecticut

Dan’s Liquor signed a lease for 1,830 SF of retail space immediately adjacent to The Fresh Market within the Village Center Shopping Center in Westport.  Brett A. Sherman, CCIM, Senior VP of Angel Commercial, LLC, represented both the landlord and tenant in the lease negotiations.

1281 East Main Street – Holly Pond Plaza, Stamford, Connecticut

Beacon Wealth Consulting, LLC has leased approximately 2,100 SF of office space from Boston HP, LLC. Brett A. Sherman, CCIM, Senior VP of Angel Commercial, LLC, represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

10 Hancock Street, Stratford, Connecticut

G&B Shellfish Farm Inc. signed a lease for approximately 3,000 SF to accommodate the need for expansion. This family-run, regional fish wholesaler has been serving the area for over 20 years. Jon Angel represented both the landlord and the tenant in the lease negotiations.
